I am taking metronidazole. I am also on birth control.  How long should I use a back up method of birth control after I finish the antibiotics??

Not all antibiotics effect birth control. Only some do and it depends on the kind of birt birth control you are on. Honestly your best bet would be to just give your doctor a call. They will know if you need back of protection and for how long.
