She is , so I said yes. 
Now she’s mad lol

I mean you told the truth. But generally people would prefer that you say it in a nicer way than just “yeah”. Maybe with some sympathy of her feelings?

Not at all. If she couldn’t handle the answer she shouldn’t have asked you and put you into that position.  She’s not a bitch for asking, but she’s a bitch for reacting poorly to your answer.  You did the right thing.

Lolol I’ve been through this.
My neighbor who was like a little sister to me (2 years younger) ALWAYS complained of gaining weight nothing fitting her. 
Well I was going to the gym 4x a week and running 6 miles a day. I alwaysssss offered to see if she’d like to come (she had the time) and she would always say no. 
One day she asked me if if I thought she looked “more fat” and I told her that everyday she goes to mcds and gets food and drinks, goes home and eats, then eats chips and soda, so what does she expect. 
She got mad, and has never asked me that question again. 🤷🏽‍♀️
