Technology and babies

Just curious.. how to people feel about using technology around baby or letting them use it? By that I mean watching tv, using a smartphone etc?

No judgement either way!!!

I personally like it.. I play a video off YouTube on my tv as a part of our bedtime routine. I let him play around with my phone sometimes(not too often) I have a couple baby game apps. But sometimes I feel guilty about it .. like it the back of my mind I think oh your not “suppose” to do this or I think about all the signals that come from a phone and I get freaked out! but also technology is a part of life now, he will be exposed to it anyways, and like it or not it is a life skill required of people now. Of course I mainly have him play with actual toys made for baby.. as well as reading, singing etc. I believe a balance is key!

What are your thoughts?? Again no judgment I’m just curious as to where people stand on this topic in general.
