I’m scheduled to have my first retrieval in mid February. I’m planning to drop off my 2yo at my parents house the day before my retrieval (they’re 2 hours away), and they’ll be watching him for my procedure. My question is, when should we pick him up again? Would it be safe to do it the day after my retrieval, or should they keep him longer? He’s extremely active/energetic and it’s difficult to keep him off me because he’s a very needy Mommy’s boy. I’m worried about picking him up because he’s huge and my dr warned me that my ovaries will be bigger than normal and might twist. Have you heard of this? Any advice about toddlers and retrieval would be appreciated!
