Scared of having kids 😖

My hubby wants a kid we currently don’t have any but I have a huge fear of having kids. I’m scared about the birth I don’t know if I’ll be able to push a child out or lay down and be cut open. I expressed that to him and he said he’ll be right by me the whole way. I can’t shake my fear though so does any moms have any suggestions or encouragement ?
