Do you microwave breast milk

I just learned you’re not supposed to microwave breast milk. Opppsss

I mean it gets the job done but kills the antibodies and other things that make it "better" than formula. Also microwaving milk can heat it unevenly and create hot pockets which could burn your baby's mouth. 
We just use a bottle warmer or run it under a hot tap. Yes it's slower; we don't often bottle feed.

My husband just uses a glass measuring cup with warm water to thaw or warm up the milk. We haven’t had to heat it to body temp for our kids so we make it just warm enough to take the chill out of it.

I used to just warm the faucet and put the bag under watm running water. But my daughter refused to bottle and only wanted a weighted sippy cup so it was rare

I use my kureg hot water setting 
Heats it in about 8mins

Running it under warm / hot water or putting the bag in a container of hot water works..I used to pump smaller amounts into the bags that I knew I was going to leave w a sitter.U dont have to leave it for long in water n sometimes too hot seemed to make a bag leak ofci put the whole thing in

I DID however microwave the water then I'd put the milk bag into the water. Only because it boiled a mug of water so much faster than the bottle warmer. Tea kettle also worked great upstairs to heat up the water
