Looks like it’s my turn!

Samantha

Had a drs appointment at 4 o’clock Jan 28th, as soon as I went to stand up after being checked my water broke and I asked my dr if there was enough time for me to go home and get my bags and things before going to the hospital, she said yes since we didn’t live far only 7 minutes away and quickly grabbed all of our things.

got to the hospital at 5 o’clock just as I was being hit with contractions every 3 minutes, tried to breath threw them but was begging for the epidural very fast and they told me it could take about 20 minutes or we could have a baby in that time. I was crying and pleading that I couldn’t have the baby without the epidural I couldn’t do it with the pain.

He showed up at 615 tried to quickly give me one as I’m trying not to scream from contractions and he pushes some meds into my system but only half of me numbs before I feel my legs being pulled up and I’m being told “NECK TO CHEST AND PUSH!” And seriously 1 push later my baby girl came into the world at 6:51 pm the fastest labour I have ever had and in one push too...

I’m completely amazed in the human body, this is my second child and it’s still amazing, to be carrying this child in your belly for so long one minute and then the next there they are looking up at you 💚
