Hakka worth buying ? Any knock off u recommend ?

I got a free Medela breast manual pump from
The hospital. I was gonna buy the Hakka but now that I have that one and my double electric spectra 2 I’m not sure I want to spend money of the Hakka for the off chance I need it ? What do u think? Or should I buy it and be collecting the let down from my other side ? I’ve read this mostly foremilk anyways ? Is it worth it to be collecting an ounce or less of foremilk and be freezing it in that small increments ? When he does drink it he’s gonna need like 3 different bottles to even make one feed though cuz I’m pretty sure u can’t combine milk from different pump sessions right ?

You can combine different pump sessions they just both need to be the same temperature before mixing.

I have both a haakaa and an electric pump, i highly recommend the haakaa or whatever off brand version. In my experience it collects both foremilk & hindmilk. Ive started a small stash from just using the haakaa.

I have a manual and a Medela double electric. I also have a Haakaa and it seems to give me more milk than the other two and in less time. I get foremilk and hindmilk. I also combine my milk as long as it’s from the same day and the same temperature.

I have 2 off brands.  One is naturebond and the other is bumblebee.  They both work extremely well.  I'm 2 weeks pp and I get at least 2oz with every feed.  I keep one in the living room and one in the bedroom so I'm never tracking one down. I also have a Spectra pump and an old Medela pump from 10 years ago.  I have quite the milk stash building and I haven't even used the pumps.

I've found the Haaka totally worth it and can save ~4-6 oz by combining several collections throughout the day (as someone previously commented, you need to make sure you only combine milk of the same temp). My lactation consultant also said collecting the foremilk this way really isnt that different, just a little less fatty so they may get hungrier more quickly but massaging your breast beforehand can help and make the difference between the fore and hindmilk even less.

Bumblebee! Just like haakaa but cheaper. I can get several ounces if I'm particularly engorged. Foremilk and hindmilk too

I have a manual pump, several electric pumps, and a haakaa and a haakaa knock off.  A haakaa isn’t so much a pump as it is a milk collector.  I have a haakaa and a nature bond one.  I loved the nature bond one until I got the haakaa.  It’s thicker and has an extra rib around the top that helps it stay suctioned on better.   I would go for the haakaa brand if I ever needed another one.   If you do go for a knock off, just make sure it’s food grade silicone and not some cheaper material.
