Anyone do the water trick?

Okay first, I know the test is old. I know the water trick is known to not work. Yes I know evap... I just wanna know if anyone has done the water trick, got a colored line still and ended up pregnant

If you’re talking about the hook effect, then yes if you get a line with diluted urine then you’re pregnant. The reason a line wouldn’t appear with concentrated urine is it is said that it has too high of HCG levels for a HPT to pick up. But it has to appear within the test timeframe

The water test is when you have an evap on a test but you dip it or puts drips of water on it and the evap line should disappear if your not pregnant. 
My friend used it and it didn’t work for her 
It’s best to buy a new test
