So scarlette is a month today and she won't sleep in the bassinet downstairs. In my room i have an older pack n play that was given to us next to our bed. She would sleep for 4+ hours stretches in that. I had to wake her up to feed her. After two boys that never slept it was amazing. I just realized the part i was putting her in was not the bassinet( that's just the mat at a higher setting) it was the graco napper attachment. I also found out that they are only supposed to be in that for short times with an adult watching or it's a sids risk ? She will not sleep in the pack n play bottom part at all. I gave in last night to get two hours of sleep and put her back in the napper. I don't know what to do. Part of the problem i think is the bottom part is a super thin/ hard mat on like pipes going across, the downstairs bassinet is an even thinner mat on wood. I'm thinking of buying a minicrib because it has a three inch mattress and you can take the railing off and pull it up to the bed so she has her own sleep space but im still right there. I wish i could leave her in the napper though uggg. Anyone use a minicrib? Or advice on a better product maybe? I think the napper kind of cradling around her keeps her asleep too.m on her back in an open space she moves and it jerks awake like it looks like she thinks she's falling or something. She also hates being swaddled and has colic. Sorry this is so long im just desperate and exhausted.
