First off I am an animal person. I absolutely love all animals and would own a zoo if I could. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a hamster and an iguana so we have a wide variety of critters living with us.

Now to explain; a few months ago my fiancé was given a 2 year old Great Dane/bull mastiff mix. I am 4’11” and this dog comes up past my waist. His size doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is he’s the dumbest dog I’ve ever met in my life.

In the 2 months we’ve had this big idiot he has chewed up multiple pairs of socks, quite a few items of my sons clothes, he tears into the trash, takes food right out of your hand or plate when you’re not looking and he’s constantly knocking over my 18 month old which makes him cry. He also likes to pee on the furniture and my sons toys.

Today was the straw that broke the camels back. While outside he decided to take a package off the porch and run through the yard with it. Luckily I seen him and was able to take it from him but it took me a while to catch him.

My worry is our daughter will be here in March and I’m afraid he is going to constantly chew up her stuff, pee on her stuff or knock her over when she’s really small. My fiancé loves this dog and swears he’s doing better when he’s really not. I am just really regretting ever getting that dog.
