3rd degree tear..

Kinda random.. but I had a 3rd degree tear with my LO, and (thankfully) havent had any pain since about a week after birth.. I've looked *down there* and I can't see any stitches, even though the dr lost count while stitching me so I know theres a lot! Anyone else have little to no pain and no evidence of stitches after a bad tear??
