Do you exclusively breastfeed?

My son is 2 months & I have not pumped at all. I have a Hakkaa but I’ve only used it once. I only have 1 4oz bag in the freezer. Lol when my son was 3 weeks we supplemented with formula for about a week but I’m now exclusively breastfeeding & don’t know if I should start trying to pump or if it’s too late..

I exclusively breastfed. I pumped in between but stopped because it was so annoying to clean the parts and then I had no more room in the freezer. It’s not too late to pump, go for it.

Do you have a reason to pump? If your making enough milk you don’t really need to pump unless your planning on going back to work. And if your not making enough milk you don’t need to pump baby will start to cluster feed to help your milk production go up x

Use the haakaa!!! I have 1000+ oz stored just from the haakaa and babe is 11 weeks old.

If you don’t need stored milk for something (ie, returning to work, going away), I don’t think you need to pump. During maternity leave, I only pumped if I needed to. I started pumping a week or so before returning to work.

If your planning on going back to work yes I would start pumping now that way you can have a stash set aside just in case

It’s never too late.  Pump immediately after you feed baby (so it doesn’t take from the next feeding) and your body will start making more milk for you to store.  You won’t get much at first but if you keep at it, you’ll see an increase.  Good luck!

I only breastfeed.. I have zero in the fridge lol. I have pumped about 3 or 4 times 🤨 but she drank the milk same or next day. She’s 2.5 months old.

I have done it all and she is 10m and exclusively BF. She is eating foods but not enough to be without the breast. And if I’m away from her too long she will refuse to eat. At about 6m she started refusing Bmilk from anything but the breast! This after I had every possible issue figuring out what works for me to even get milk from the pump! Some cases if the milk isn’t pasteurized and flash frozen there is something that turns the flavor of the milk sour and baby will not eat it.  So I have a whole bunch of milk that’sgood for baths🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️. But she is still healthy and taking milk just fine from the breast.
