My boyfriend tries to make me happy everytime I'm sad and comforts me everytime... Everything is perfect, but maybe unknowingly, he hurts me by doing some 'show offs'. He's a student, so am I. He doesn't earn but his family is rich and gives him expensive things. My family is equally rich but my parents don't give me such expensive things. Like he mostly wears gucchi, Louis Vuitton, channel, but we do have the same model car. His dad is a government employer and my dad is a businessman (in our country both works are equally valued). As we're teens and don't have any job, we only get what our parents give us. Idk if he shows off or not to me, but he shows off a bit to others. He gifts me and my brother, mom, dad expensive gifts too. Idk if it's showing off but it hurts me. He knows that I'm not that independent like him so I think he should be like me when he's with me. I can't talk to him about it because if my self-respect. What do y'all think about it?
