Stabbing pain in bladder/lower abdomen when peeing?

Today when I was peeing I had a long, stabbing pain in my bladder/Lower abdomen as I peed. It wasn’t like that this morning and no other symptoms. It has happened a couple other times in the past few weeks. Could this be a UTI? Worth calling my doctor or should I wait to see if it continues for the rest of the day?

I’ve had the same thing but usually happens when I wake up with a full bladder

I think that if you go to bathroom again and the pain is still there then call your doctor. 
I’ve had UTIs and it feels like a burning sensation but also even when I finish peeing I feel like I want to pee again.
