Hi I’m 22 years old and currently enrolled in college. Ever since my first period in middle school I’ve become incredibly emotional (to the point of threatening or attempting to end my life) the week before I begin menstruating. I haven’t told many people this, but I was put on birth control to relieve my severe cramps in high school and that lessened my symptoms. About 2 years ago due to an insurance complication I went off my birth control and since last year my period has been coming semi-regularly, along with sudden and severe bouts of depression. Does anyone else experience this? I’ve been having weird and complex thoughts about gender recently but I don’t think it’s dysphoria. I just feel like a terrible and useless person every month and 1/2 and I’m not sure what to do?
