Would you live in an apartment with old appliances?

My father says the appliances in this apartment we are looking at are extremely old and he wouldnt live there. What are your opinions? We have no idea how long we will live here but we want it to be for awhile.

They only need to work (and hopefully they are clean)!  If they happen to quit working on you it will be the land lords responsibility to replace them for you. Unless you have valid reasons that the look of old appliances wouldn’t work for you then I wouldn’t have a problem with them.

if it’s what i can afford idc a place to live is a place to live. they can be cleaned and fixed up 
me and my mom hooked up a washing machine from the 50s and it SUCKED because it was just a block of metal but it got the job done 🤷🏻‍♀️ (four hrs later 🤣🤣)

As long as the maintenance has been kept up on it and they are clean, I don’t see what the big deal is. They aren’t fancy but if they work and you like the apartment otherwise then big deal? 🤷‍♀️
Just depends on what you’re looking for. If you want a place that is more updated then find some place else.

I wouldn't do the fridge but I live in an old apt. It's not amazing but it's cheap and honestly I dont need a lot

I’ve only ever lived in places with old AF appliances. As long as they work what does it matter?

If they work, I don’t see what the problem would be. If it’s such a problem but y’all want to live there, buy your own appliances. Other than that, it doesn’t look like there’s anything wrong with that stove.
