Trying to get pregnant after Tubal ligation.

It's been 3 years now since I had my tubal ligation. The doctor only clamped them. Only reason I did it bc my ex husband at the time was done. Well now I'm remarried and the guy I'm with has no kids and I want so much to give him a baby. What can I do I don't want to spend thousands of dollars to do the reversal and I've read online how woman have gotten pregnant still. Any advice??
