I was just put on metaformin and it’s giving the me the worst gas I’ve had in a long time and my stomach is killing me. At night and in the morning I have the worst nausea. He said that it could it could cause some issues like that but does it last the entire time you are on it? I’m gonna be on this for a long time and he gave me so much of it look at this freaking bottle.

I know that pregnant women get put on it and women with PCOS (like me) take it too. I was hoping I could find someone on here to tell me if I’m gonna be dealing with that forever or if I just need to get used to the med. I know I can just call and ask but I also like to hear from people who are taking or have taken it before, too.❤️

Edit: they are 500 mg and he wants me to take it once everyday for 3 months and then he wants me to start taking it twice a day everyday after that. He’s put me on it because I’m prediabetic and have PCOS
