Gas smile ?

She’s almost 5 months and caught her smiling like it was gas but I thought only newborns do this 
Wondering what age they stop smiling when they have gas 
It’s not that serious of a question but I tried googling it and couldn’t find an answer

It's one of the phases of sleep. I've caught a cold solid 5 minutes of smiling on and off . Half smile on both side and then full on . Good dreams mama 😘

Maybe I'm weird but I never thought of a baby smiling as them having gas lol. My MIL is big on this..she thinks every smile before like 4 months old is gas 🙄. I believe they are genuinely smiling..they're having nice thoughts/memories. My son smiled from I think a week old, and giggled in his sleep that same day. I'm so happy I have a video of it or I think people wouldn't believe me lol. But yeah, your LO doesn't have gas..she's dreaming :)
