Lately my child’s father has been causing more stress then good. We have been on and off for 2 and a half years. And I found out I was pregnant after we broke up. Recently we have been trying to make it to work but it’s very clear that we aren’t good for each other. He’s very emotionally, and mentally abusive. This has taken a huge toll on me mentally as I’m trying to be the best mom I can. I’ve decided the best option is for us to split for good and we just have no communication. If I refuse to talk to him at all will this look bad in court? I don’t want to take him to court for child support as he doesn’t have a job. And has never had a job the whole time we were together, ive always been the one to have a full time job and support us. I just don’t want to risk losing my child by doing what’s best for me. He already has a daughter and has no rights to her at all. He has multiple violent charges, one being a domestic abuse when he attempted to drive me into oncoming traffic to kill me. He is on 2 years probation for this. I guess what I’m asking is it possible that he could take the baby from me?
