Bunk beds?

I’m going anonymous just because I want to keep my privacy... 
Do you think a 4 year old is too young to be on the top bunk of a bunkbed? We just moved and can’t fot two beds on the floor of the room comfortably. We will be using an age appropriate bunk and add extra protection of course but would you do it? Why or why not?

You know your kids best. If your 4 year old can understand and follow basic safety rules and is cautious about getting up and down, go for it! It’s not nearly as high off the ground as some of the bridges and towers at the local playgrounds that my toddlers swing off of 😂

My 3 yr old and 2 yr old just got a bunk bed! 3 yr old on the top and he’s been great! I think it’s fine.

I had the top bunk on a bunk bed when I was 4. It worked out just fine.

I was young when I got my loft bed. I did fall off once but it wasn't a problem. Never did it again tho.
My brother's had a bunk bed pretty young too. Worked fine. 🤷‍♀️

4 years old seems fine to be on the top bunk. Just teach them safety.

I just bought a mid-sleeper for my almost 4 Yr old. Then eventually the youngest will have a mattress/ toddler bed underneath. I prefer the mi-sleeper as its ladder is at an angle an it's not so high up.

My 6 yr old has been in a bunk bed since she was 4. So I think it's totally fine.
