Late and light period

Hi girls,

My period was 3 days late. Then it started to bleed and it was very light than my normal ones. It stopped 2,5 days after. I took two pregnancy tests at the end of it and they both came negative. Do you have any idea that why it was very lighter and shorter? Do you think should I need to test it again?
