I found these videos on Youtube from User “Teachmetotalk” she is a speech therapist who has a ton of videos/podcasts about how to to encourage language development and what to expect if you do see a speech therapist on your own.

This video “11 skills toddlers must master first” helped me understand where my son was in his development so it may be helpful to others who are worried as well. After using her tips we went from barely responding to now using a few words and animal sounds! Her videos are a little long but definitely worth checking out!
