Baby after Vasectomy??

Have any couple conceived after a vasectomy ?  On purpose or by mistake .   my SO  got his 15 years ago   I'm only 25 and want one more.  Does he have to get it reversed

I remember watching a paternity court episode where the lady got pregnant and her husband got a vasectomy 15 years ago, so obviously there was doubt. Turns out it was actually his child.
The chances of that happening are extremely rare, but a vasectomy is not 100%. I wouldn't say there's no hope especially with a reversal, just might take some time

It's more common in the first 5 years after the procedure. He would need a reversal if you want to try for a baby, but a reversal does not guarantee a viable pregnancy.

My dad got snipped after my little sister (14years ago) was able to have a reversal with his new wife, they ended up doing IVF because she found out she had thyroid issues and was already 35. But now I have a little brother that is 3 months old and a little brother in the freezer. So it’s definitely possible

You would need a reversal. They aren't very effective.
