It's just about where you are in life, in my opinion. 
I go to college 2,000 miles away from my boyfriend, so moving in with him was never really a logical thing. When I visit for the summer, I stay with my parents. He agreed with my decision to wait to move in with him until after graduation (next year). My parents aren't happy about it. They think I should wait until marriage. But it'll be 5 years of dating him by then, and I think that's a good time to move in.

I think it really depends on your age and the relationship. my current boyfriend and I are 21, but have only been together for six months. we have talked about moving in together next summer after we both graduate college, which seems to be a good option for us and a logical next step in our relationship.
