my son will be 3.5 when baby #2 arrives- should we still get a double stroller?

We had a 3 year old and a new born, never had a double stroller and never needed one.

We had a 2 year old when our second was born and never did a double stroller. I just got a collapsible wagon. I baby wore the youngest until she could sit in the wagon with her sister. The wagon was a lot cheaper and easier than the double strollers.

My daughter will be 2 when our second is born, I will definitely not be getting one. She walks everywhere and doesn’t need one anymore, if we go out for longer and she gets tired I will either get a board to attach to the babies push chair so she can stand on it or I will carry her.

Same age difference and we didn’t. Those things are massive. I don’t regret it yet but our 3.5 year old was largely over stroller anyways. If yours still uses it— maybe consider the ride on!
