Advice?

Second time mom but each child is different so I’ll take advice. 
My newborn who was born on the 30th, refuses to sleep at night at all.. the only way he’s quiet is if he’s breastfeeding ALLLL night long... tips?

Are you still in the hospital? That was the worst time for us and their second night is always the hardest. Baby didn’t want to be put in the bassinet.  We did still keep putting her in it when she fell asleep though. Babies only know what we show them. She’s 3.5 weeks old now and sleeps 1.5-2 hours in her pack n play. Stay consistent and don’t judge baby on those few rough days is my advice. I also read somewhere that baby gets a little easier every 2 weeks and I’m clinging to that for hope. My advice would be to do the side lying position for breastfeeding and sleep while feeding baby.

I know everyone has a different opinion on this but it had working amazing for me with both of my daughters. My youngest is 3 weeks old. Since my little one was born with a lip and tongue tie, we’ve struggled with colic like symptoms as well as cluster feedings so if you can imagine that it was just awful. Well I decided to start pumping and bottle feeding just at night. (With my first I waited at least 2weeks). After having a bottle at night I burp her then lay her down, then I pump. This has worked great for me. Then throughout the day I breastfeed on demand. I started this pattern at 3-4days old because I was sleep deprived. Initially I worried about getting her confused, but babies are smart and resilient. Don’t give up! Remember, if you’re  stressed baby is stressed. What works for some may or may not work for others. Just try different things until you figure out what works great with your baby. In addition to this I also use a Swaddle wrap for my baby. This usually helps her sleep an extra hour or two. I can tell because throughout the day I don’t use it so she can be awake a little more often, therefore breastfeed more throughout the day.

I’m in the same boat. My first would sleep all night long and now my second is up all night long. His days and nights are switched and I’m trying to keep him up more throughout the day as much as I can

No tips. My girl was the same. So I breastfed and held her all night 😆 but she’s almost 6 weeks and gives me a good 4-5 hr stretch but I have to hold her and feed her most the night during the witching hours.

I have no real advice but to say mine did this as well. She was born on the 10th of Jan. We were in the hospital for 2 days and she wouldn’t sleep unless I fed her or held her. I just wanted to let you know it does get better.
