When did your pp haemorrhoids go away?

I’m 12 days pp and my general swelling down there has only just receded enough for me to realise I have haemorrhoids. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Unfortunately hemorrhoids don’t go away. You can get swelling to go down and get them to go back in though. I’ve had them for years before pregnancy. These are the things I do to manage. I take a daily probiotic. Drink plenty of water. Only go poo when I gotta go- not forcing or straining to hard. Use a step stool to be in squatty position. Witch hazel/ tucks pads. Over the counter or prescription cream. There’s a whole list of essential oils that can help- look on google. For itchyness and discomfort you can do a epsom salt and baking soda bath- I add lavender essential oil as well. Also you can wrap an ice cube in a wash cloth and alternate back and forth between icing the area and sitting in the sits bath- that helps me the most when they are super flared up.
