Is his normal?

My baby is 18 weeks and isn’t rolling, can’t sit up unless I’m holding her (she f I let go she falls over immediately) and doesn’t reach for toys at all. She doesn’t seem even close to doing any of this. I feel like she is so behind as I’m constantly seeing posts on here of everyone’s baby already doing these things.

Remember that every baby achieves milestones at different rates. You can’t compare and apple to a grape, each is good but they aren’t the same. Really as long as your baby has good head control they are fine.

Pretty sure it's normal. My daughter is 18 weeks also and just rolled over for the first time today but only did it once. And she just started reaching for things like last week, it just happened one morning and she's getting better each day. She also doesn't really sit up on her own unless she's like propped up.

Mine is almost 21 weeks and doesn’t roll. Or even attempt to but can sit up for a couple minutes before she falls over. 
My 3 year old was rolling at 3 months but didn’t sit up unassisted until almost 7 months. They all just reach milestones on their own time.

My LO doesn’t sit up unassisted either, she’ll be 5 months next week. I purchased one of those sit me up Fisher Price chairs (got it on clearance from Walmart) to help her build those muscles. We’ll see if it works! All we can do is show them how to do things, and it’ll happen when it happens.

My baby is 22 weeks and doesn't roll over, my pediatrician said some babies skip this step and move on to other things. He loves to sit up but definitely needs help! At his 6 month appointment he should be sitting up and holding himself with his arms out (like propping himself) for 30+ seconds. I'm not sure about the reaching for toys thing, my son has been doing that for a while but the other stuff sounds pretty normal to me.

Don’t sweat it, mama. My baby girl didn’t roll until just 2 days ago, when she turned 20 weeks. She’s not sitting up unassisted either; she keeps doing this thing where she slouches down and lifts her butt up whenever we try to get her to sit lol.
