To start, I was born with a birth defect that causes inflammation and high levels of pain daily. I have taken Motrin, Advil, Naproxen, and other NSAIDs for years to control pain. My husband and I have been TTC for 7 months and I mentioned it to my gyno. The first questions she asked me was if i took a lot of Motrin. Come to find out, it can prevent your egg from being able to drop! This month I’ll be switching to Tylenol for pain and I’m interested to see if I’ll get pregnant the first month after the switch. I usually don’t take Tylenol because it doesn’t work as well for me, but I’m willing to if it helps me conceive. I thought this might be helpful information to anyone TTC!
