Nexplanon stop working two months before 3 years

I have the nexplanon it's due out in two months.(almost three years) And ever since I have had it my period has been all over the place. But I just had a "normal" period like I did before I got the nexplanon. It lasted exactly 7 days like it used two. Dose that mean my nexplanon has stopped working?
