Why does a change in routine affect your period???
Hi ladies so I have a question I have been wondering for a long time, especially as of recently. WHYYYY does a change in your normal daily routine affect your period??? I of course never think about this question when I see my doctor so I figured this is the next best bet from other women who I’m sure experience this. I recently started my first full time job, so my daily life has done a total 180, meaning I’m now up at 5 am to get ready for work, work 8-5 an hour away on the weekdays and hitting the gym after, busy weekends than normal, and go to bed early. What was my normal schedule usually was going to bed late, sleeping in a bit, working about 15-25 hours a week, and just having a relaxed weekend. Oh, I’m also a full time college student throughout all of this. Now I noticed since this life flip last month started, my period has been very strange this month. I’m supposed to start my period tomorrow, but the last I would say 6 days I’ve had light spotting for no reason. I have my usual period symptoms I get about a week before my period actually starts, very sore and swollen breasts, my lower back hurts, very occasional abdominal pain, being irritable all the time, you know how it goes. I’m concerned but at the same time this hasn’t happened until I did this big switch that I was never used to in my life, could anyone shed some light as to why this happens? I did some research of my own but it all still seems so bizarre to me. TYIA!!!! :)
