Hey guys. So I’ve been married to my husband now for just over 2 years. We’ve spent most of our married life abroad travelling the world (it was AMAZING) and now we are home we are temporarily living with my parents and starting our own business.

Needless to say, money is pretty tight right now, and I’m the only one of us who is physically bringing in regular money. I’ve dipped into my savings to keep us afloat. My husband has no savings.

So it’s been an ongoing theme in our relationship that he is terrible with money and gets major FOMO. He plays football every Saturday and often goes to the pub after. He text me this evening like ‘I’m staying out with the guys’ and it of course started a huge text argument going over the same things we always go over.

I’m just a bit let down... I haven’t seen any of my friends since coming back because they don’t live nearby and I haven’t felt it was appropriate to spend ‘our’ money on travelling to see them.

We are TTC this year and it stresses me out that one day I’ll be literally left holding the baby whilst he’s having the time of his life down the pub.

I guess I’m just feeling a bit miserable ☹️ I was hoping he would have grown up about money by now but clearly that’s not the case.
