Do you think my kid watches too much tv?

Question

He wakes up and has breakfast and usually watches a show while I clean up...then we read books and play and then have lunch and he naps for an hour. When he wakes up we play outside for awhile and have snack around 2 and than back outside for a little while longer. Then when we come in he rests on the couch with an episode of his favorite show and one more while I cook dinner. Do you think he is watching too much? He is 19 months

If he does, so does my daughter lol BUT I honestly attribute the fact that my daughter knows so many words to watching Baby Bum and being obsessed with it. Your little one still wants to do other things and enjoys them. I think when it truly starts to affect them, as in they don’t like reading or playing with toys is when it’s too much. When they choose TV over everything else. Too much 
But that’s my opinion.

I have a 7 month old that is just now starting to take 2 naps a day. While doing 3 naps a day, I felt very stuck at home. As a result, my 2 almost 2 year old spends about half of her time with toys, playing, napping and half on her iPad. She has learned a ton from that thing. Now that my son is down to 2 naps, I’ll try to go places which will decrease iPad time, but overall I think my kid is looking at a screen way more than yours. She will still turn out great 🤷🏼‍♀️

To ME twice in one day is too much. But if it’s fine with you, who cares what someone else thinks? It’s your kid

This is almost exactly our routine. I felt guilty at first, but now I really enjoy it. She has come to expect it and has actually learned quite a bit. I get to clean up and make my coffee and then I come sit and snuggle with her and participate in her show. It’s bonding for us and now I have zero guilt!
The great thing is you can always change or limit the screen time more if you feel you need to! It has helped me keep my sanity and given us some down/snuggle time.
