After you get your bfp, when do you call the doctor?

Whenever they’re open at my next opportunity. My office has me come in right away to confirm the pregnancy with blood work and ultrasound. They then schedule my next appointment around 8 weeks or so and then another at 12 weeks for a big ultrasound.

Right away because the first appt is usually 4-6 weeks away anyways. I have a midwife who fills up fast so wanted to claim my spot since they only take up to 15 mamas due per month

I called mine two days after my positive (I think I needed a day to let it sink in😂) they got me in within a couple of weeks though!

I had an appt with my obgyn yesterday and she said when I do eventually conceive not to call immediately after a positive test. She said to wait about 10 days. Seemed like she was a little annoyed if people call immediately 🤷🏻‍♀️
