How long should you stay in the “talking” phase?

I met this guy back in December on a dating app and we talked for a couple weeks. We later matched on tinder about a month ago and went on a date. Things went great. We saw each other last night too and went to a club and danced and made out. My friend was also there and said that it was pretty clear that he’s really interested in me and that he wants me. We talk everyday too. When would be the best time to ask him about defining the relationship?

I met my boyfriend on POF and within a month we defined our relationship Cause we started talking at the beginning of April 2017 and we started dating May 5, 2017. So you can define it now if you both really want to. Or you can wait. It's up to you.

I’d say 3ish months is the cut off. 
I met my husband on tinder and we were inseparable within a few dates. I didn’t have to guess. Which was a complete change from the other guys I dated. I’d say about the 3 month mark is when the other guys i dated would fizzle unless we were known fwb but even that got boring in time

Ask him whenever you're ready to do so. All he can say is yes he's ready or no he's not ready. Ither way you can still be talking frequently in the end.
