Is my husband a alcoholic ?
Hey there I need some advice on what to do and just help understanding, so a little back ground history of us we met when I was 15 and he was 17, we have a baby when I turned 16 and our relationship from me being 15-18 was really bad he would constantly cheat and lie to me, yet I stayed because I believe he could change when I turned 18 I left him for a few months and he begged for me back eventually and I came back and it seem as if he completely changed at 18 he asked me to marry him and we got married and got pregnant with our second born we ended up getting our own place, car , he was taking care of everything and let me be a stay at home mom, during those 2 years me and him were deeply into church we didn’t drink smoke we didn’t have any social we just focused on serving god, well we fell out due to job changes and he got around people who would go out a drink and that’s where it started he began to drink and smoke weed occasionally on the weekends then it became to the point where he wouldn’t answer texts or calls and wouldn’t come home from work some days because he would be out drinking , well recently he had a near death experience where his 2 friends died from having their coke laced and he almost died he was in icu, Well he recovered and like 2 days later was out drinking and since then drinks everyday smokes everyday is always leaving the house completely stopped picking my son up from school , and he keeps saying he wants to be with me and us be a family but enjoys drinking and partying and he thinks its a normal thing to do , and when he’s not drinking or smoking he’s angry , he keeps pushing me and our kids out of his life it’s gotten so bad, I’m also 8 months pregnant and high risk and he knows that and doesn’t seem to even care it seems like all he cares about is drinking and smoking and he spends all our money on drink and smoking and looking nice for going out I’m so confused I know I need to leave I’m just so mentally destroyed is there anything I can do to help him is this addiction , is this a mid life crisis?
