Gushing Cervical Mucus During Ovulation?

Does anyone else experience frequent and sudden gushes of water drop during or near ovulation? I always have to wear a small pad because of this. I actually wear a pad all the time because I’m always having some kind of discharge throughout my cycle. Is this normal? Does the watery gush mean I’m near ovulating or that I am ovulating? Does anyone else experience this? I feel like I’m on a mild colorless period during this time.
