Anyone else feel a little piece of their soul break off and leave their body when you have to toss almost a full bottle of formula/breast milk?

This is me when I get home and see a bottle gone bad because "she just didnt want it".

If she doesn’t finish a bottle of breastmilk, I save it for her next bath. I can’t stand to see all that hard work go to waste!

My husband is so careless and nonchalant with the breast milk! It’s like do you know what it takes to get that for her!! No sweat, I’ll just go pump another 5 oz for you to leave out...

Yes! We have days where she will drink 1-2 ounces max of a 4.5-5 ounce bottle and it kills me to dump. Especially because she’s on nutramigen which is SO expensive. Dr said we could try switching and see if she grew out of her dairy allergy so we did, she only drank an ounce of the similar pro total and that night her eczema came back and her poop was green and runny again, so were back to the nutramigen. I hate throwing it out!

This happened to me yesterday 😭😭😭 I give my daughter bottles of mixed formula/breastmilk. Made up 5 ounces (which is her usual) and she drank 2 ounces and she was so sleepy she practically choked on it so I gave up and put her to bed. Bye bye 3 ounces 😭
