Has anyone else's period changed lately?

I usually have a very heavy period but lately it hasn't been. I went from a solid four days to a full day and three days of spotting. Does anyone know what that could mean?

My periods have changed since I had sterilization surgery and got off birth control. Mine used to be 5 days of full bleeding with painful cramps and used to come every 28 days.
Now since everything happened they come every 44 days and last 4-5 days with only 2 days of light bleeding and then 3 days of spotting.

This month my cycle went from 29 days all my life to 26 days 🤔 I’m a bit concerned

I started and stopped birth control in July of 2019 and my period only came back once and that was after intercourse in November of 2019 and it hasn't showed up yet
