Hey ladies. I had my tubes tied in 2016, I did not want them tied. Long story short I was told something was wrong with me so I signed the papers to have them tied, but 2 weeks before my c-section I was told that there was nothing wrong. Upon getting the news I talked with my husband and we decided not to go ahead with the tubal. I didn’t see my ObGyN again until I was in the OR getting ready for my surgery. At this time I told her I did NOT want my tubes tied she said ok. But when I woke up from the c-section (had to be put fully asleep due to spinal not working in previous 2 C-Sections) I was told that my tubal was a success. I spoke with my OB and she said I had signed the papers so even tho I said I didn’t want to she did it anyways. She has since been fired for malpractice apparently I wasn’t the only mama who’s tubes she tied even tho she was told not to.

Anyways my question can any mamas in or near VA tell me a place that may be cheaper to have tubes untied? Or anywhere that may accept Medicade.
