IUI timing? Help???

I’m a little confused if we are doing IUI timing correctly. I know dr probably knows what he is doing but wondering if anyone else had same timing. I had trigger shot last night 10pm according to app I ovulate today and IUI is tomorrow 1030am. Shouldn’t I be doing IUI the day I ovulate?

Ignore the app and go off the trigger shot. You ovulate 36 hours after trigger shot. Apps are just a guess.

You have exactly 36 hours from trigger shot anything more and you're wasting your time pay attention to the doctors timing from that trigger shot not your app

I had trigger shot Monday nite at 10 pm and had to go in for iui Wednesday at 8 for sperm wash and iui at 10 end up doing the iui till 12 tht day

Is your app basing it on ovulation tests you've taken in the past?
I also had a feeling my iui was sone too late. I decided to trust it for that iui but if there was no pregnancy I would start tracking with ovu tests the next iui... guess what? I was right, I had my peak in the morning the day before iui, so I informed the dr, he checked, no egg anymore...🤨
Hopefully not needed for you, sending  babydust, but trust your instincts and start gathering evidence that your ovulation is earlier than dr thinks!
