How many diapers?

How many diapers are you planning on buying/already bought before the baby comes? How many of each size?

I’m probably just buying one big box of newborn size pamper swaddles. This is my first so I have noooo clue what brand will work for us. I don’t want the hassle of returning and exchanging.

I’ve gotten a large box from Costco and a few small packs of Luvs and Walmart brand and maybe Huggies? (Can’t remember) so I haven’t bought very many myself yet. I’m doing a diaper raffle at our baby shower so I’m hoping we’ll get some then too.

We bought one large box of newborns and size 1s for when my daughter was born. We didn’t stock up because we didn’t know which ones would work best for us. We ended up switching so I’m happy we didn’t have to go and exchange tons of boxes.

Whatever we get from our shower ! We aren’t too worrrid with the diapers and wipes as we know we will be buying them all the time . We have so many other things we need for baby this is the least of our concern e we are financially stable

I have a box of newborn disposables for target that my mom bought me and I have 24 cloth pocket diapers from my first son. As soon as #2 can fit the pockets we’re not buying disposables.

We lucked out and had a diaper party so we ended up with 2 large boxes of newborns 2 large boxes of 1s 1 box of 3s and 1 box of 4s

I did 1 small bag of newborn because I’ll get some from the hospital and my youngest outgrew NB in a week. I did 1 box of 1s and 1 box of 2s. My son was in 3s for 2-3 months so I have 2 big boxes of 3s and might need more. 
My youngest was 8lbs 3oz at birth and by 2 months old he was 15.5lbs. He just turned 2 last week and he’s 37lbs. He really doesn’t fit in his size 6 diapers so we are gonna have to put him in pull ups. He also has 0 desire to potty train right now 🙄.

With my first we went through a large (like 120-150 pack) each month. We did stock up before he came, but also got a lot of different sizes from baby shower. One thing i will say about it though is DONT get a ton of Newborn size. Babies grow super fast the first month or two so your baby will probably grow out of newborn size before you finish a big pack.

Get at the shower and I’ll skip size 2 and get a few 3s
