Which milk is better for 1 yr old. Also how did you transition?

We went with almond milk.

I chose to use almond milk, what’s important is the fat content.

I used regular milk🤷‍♀️didn’t see a reason not to when she responded well to it and enjoyed the taste. I slowly transitioned starting at 11 months I would offer an ounce every few days, then gradually increase how much she got as I cut out nursing sessions. They should have no more than 16-20oz a day though.

Anything that has the proper amount of healthy fat for brain development and lacking in sugar.  A lot of milk alternatives are loaded with sugar so go with unsweetened.  Too much soy has an effect on hormonal development too so I wouldn’t go to that unless there’s an issue with other milks.

Cow milk is the best cause you want the fat from it. However if your child has allergies there’s lots of alternatives.

We started to do half formula half whole milk once she reached 11mo 2 weeks and after she turned 12mo we completely took off formula from her book
