Hey guys, I just started taking nuvaring as a birth control . I started it after my ovulation. I have been told that I normally shouldn’t expect a period because this device stops me from ovulating, but since I started it after I’m not sure what to expect.

I did have unprotected sex once before getting on birth control and I’m 14 DPO today and no period still. I took a pregnancy test which was negative, but I’m wondering if I should be expecting a period or not. I have also been experiencing light uterine cramping on and off since dpo 11. Yes, I know pregnancy is also an option and I will keep testing if I don’t get my period, but it would help to know what to expect.
