False positive?

Hi ladies. I took 2 home pregnancy tests, one Monday and the other on Tuesday and they both came up positive. I went to the doctor today and he did a urine test and that came up negative. I'm just a little confused.

Those urine tests they use are junk. Did you get a blood test? Qualitive or quantitive? When will you have the results?

With my last pregnancy, I used wondfo pregnancy tests and started getting positive tests w fmu. Same day went to dr and have urine test mid day and it was negative. Then they did blood test and it was negative. They had me come in for another pee test two days later at their office which was also negative. In the mean time, my tests with fmu gradually got darker. Finally a week later blood test was positive. It was just crazy to me that wondfo tests were positive before blood test.

That happened to me before I was so sad. I told her to go look at it agian. When she came back she said she was so sorry that it was positive. I was so excited and told her its okay I new I was really early into my pregnancy and some test where not as sensitive to hcg

Sensitivity on dr could be lower...they could have misread the test or not tested correctly giving false results...I've had it happen before...but I insisted I was pregnant and they did blood work...found out I was 3w1d and their tests weren't as sensitive as my hpt

Doctors tests aren't good. I would keep testing in the mornings and take them in to show them that's what I did with my son and he said he wouldn't bothers giving me a test seeing as I had 4 positive to show him lol good luck x

My doctor misread my pee test I almost got an X-ray when the labs called him to say I got a faint positive with her he ordered blood work I am know 13 weeks and 2 days it can happen just tell him or her you want blood work

I would treat again and ask for blood work if it's still positive.
