High sugars
Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated. I'm a type 1 diabetic for 11 years now. I'm a mom of 2 girls 7 and 2.5 years old. I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and unfortunately out of state for work training. I've been gone 2 weeks now and have 1 week left BUT my blood sugars have been constantly high over 250 to 400 for the last week and a half. I'm on the insulin pump which doesnt seem to be giving any help to the situation. The training facility provides food and of course its ALL high in carbs. I've tried alternative options like hamburgers with no buns and things like that but nothing it helping even when I buy my own food on the weekends. My head is killing me non stop and I'm constantly worry if the baby is doing ok. Any options to being sugars down and stay down other than taking about 90 to 100 units of insulin a day?
