Babies with no grandparents?

Question

Anyone else have babies with no grandparents? My hubby’s parents are both deceased and my parents no longer wanted me after their own divorce so I basically raised myself. 
So my baby has no grandparents no aunts or uncles no cousins. We have no one to call if we ever need help. 
It’s hard for many reasons. 
I just wanted to see if anyone else is in this situation.

Well my daughter basically doesn't have grandparents, only one aunt, 2 little cousins, and we'll her great grandparents r slowly getting out of the pic. Like its all on my husband's side of the family cause I don't have anyone at all. And his side are all controlling manipulating freaks including his grandparents so our daughter doesn't have much besides us.

Yes, my mom and husband’s mom both passed 9 years before my daughter was born and my dad just passed in December when she was 9.5 months (and only met her once in person but we would Skype). She’s got her paternal grandfather and his girlfriend left but they live 45 mins away and are older (80 and 70) so they’re not exactly going to be super involved and playing on the floor with her like my grandparents who were 48 and 51 when I was born were. Frankly, it sucks 🤷🏻‍♀️

My parents are deceased and I was their only child, so no uncles or aunts from my side. 
My in-laws live about 5 hours drive so we do see them pretty often (5-11 times a year). 
I’m not worried about not having any family close, as we have lots of good friends. If we need help, I can always call one of my best friends or my husband’s circle of trust. But we manage it pretty well on our own too.

My in-laws live 8 hours away and even if we lived closer they would be no help (don’t even get me started) my parents are amazing with my daughter and even though my mom drives me crazy they are a huge help for vacations and date nights/ work functions. My husband wanted to move closer to his parents before we had kids (still would be 3 hours away and my parents would have been 5. I told him he better not gripe at how much a babysitter costs because we won’t have the luxury of using grandparents if we move that far away. He now says he is so happy we didn’t move because it really dose take a village to raise children. That being said... you can’t miss what you never had in this case. You may not have the option of free childcare with family, but if you get a good support system with friends/coworkers you all can trade off watching each other’s kids for date nights and such. A friend of mine does it with her gym friends and it’s been so nice for her

Deadbeat dad from my side, his mom is in jail for assaulting our daughter and his father passed away years ago. All we have is my mom now,

My kids have grandparents but they are not very involved and I cant depend on them for help. It's hard but it is what it is.
