So I made the dumb decision of letting my daughter sleep with my husband and I in our bed since she was a baby. I started putting her in her own bed a week ago Friday. Her bed is in our bedroom right by our bed. I put her to bed at 9:30 lay in my bed so she can fall asleep. Now she wakes up at like 12:30-1 in the morning and at like 4 in the morning wanting to come sleep in our bed. I keep telling her no but she continues every night. Am I doing something wrong? Should I just let her sleep in our bed? Btw she’s 3 will be four in August. My husband doesn’t help when he isn’t working and she wakes up like this he normally yells at me to just let her sleep in bed with us or give her whatever she is crying for. So I’m just at a loss on what to do anymore.
